The Founders, Louise and Stuart, started a website around five years ago to document Dundee stories and serve as a resource for individuals interested in learning more about the city's past. Soon, they were inundated with requests for tours, and the rest, as they say, is history!
Louise and Stuart lead their walks in tandem, which you might find unique for a walking tour. They recently gained access to Custom Exchange's vaults, emptied up, made H&S compliant, and repurposed into a creepy visitor attraction. Be prepared to take some fashion risks, as wearing a super-stylish hard helmet is compulsory while you listen to enthralling stories of Dundee's darkest years.
2) Try a famous rainbow bagel
This rainbow bagel is precisely what it sounds like; who couldn't resist joining in on the fun at the Flame Tree Cafe? A baker produces the bagels in London before being sent up to Dundee, and they're so popular that the café sells small rainbow bagel badges in honour of them. It tastes precisely like a regular bagel. However, we think a sweeter filling option would pair nicely with its funky exterior!
3) Admire the street art
OpenClose Dundee is a unique street art programme that has added a much-needed splash of colour to Dundee's doors. OpenClose, founded and led by PhD student Russell Pepper, obtained financing for six doors at first, but owing to the cooperation of local businesses and artists who volunteered to participate, there are currently 19 door murals on the city centre pathway.

The McManus Art Gallery and Museum is set in a lovely Victorian Gothic-style edifice with displays that reflect the narrative of Dundee's history and heritage.
