Things to do with this kids in Middlesbrough this summer

Newham Grange Farm, Middlesbrough

Newham Grange Farm is located in the middle of Middlesbrough. The Farm, which is home to a variety of animals such as pigs, goats, Guinea pigs, and wallabies, is a great place to take the kids for a day out. There's no limit to the enjoyment with an adventure play zone, forest walk, and exploration barn.

The Farm also provides an annual pass that allows you to use its facilities all year, although day permits are also available if you're just stopping by.

Raby Castle, Darlington

Darlington's most magnificent attraction is Raby Castle. It was built in the 11th century and has 200 acres of lovely gardens that are home to loads of wild animals.

It's the ideal family outing, with a wide range of facilities, activities, and attractions geared for children of all ages. There's also the Stables Cafe and Shop, which serves excellent handmade cuisine and sells a variety of souvenirs.

Preston Park, Stockton

Preston Park Museum and Grounds is a popular local attraction in Stockton-on-Tees. There's plenty of fun to be had on the grounds, which include 100 acres of land, Butterfly World, a children's park, a museum, and a Victorian town.

Throughout the summer, the park hosts various events, including Sunday Fundays and drop-in arts and crafts activities that are ideal for a family day out.

The National Museum of the Royal Navy - Hartlepool

The National Museum of the Royal Navy is a fascinating journey through time set in the 1800s that is ideal for a family outing. Visit the historic Hartlepool quayside to see actual combat ships like the HMS Trincomalee.

In addition to the battleships, the Museum of Hartlepool houses artefacts from the town's history, dating back to the Bronze Age. The museum is free to enter, so make the most of a terrific day out for the kids!

Billingham Forum is one of the most popular recreational centres in the North East. There's a gym, an ice rink, an indoor climbing centre, and adventure play, just to mention a few.

The Forum also provides a variety of birthday celebrations for people of all ages.
