St Patrick’s Day Carnival Parade and Concert

Belfast will mark the city's St Patrick’s Day celebrations with a vibrant carnival parade and free open-air concert on Tuesday 17 March.

The streets will be awash with colour and noise from 12.30pm as the parade, themed to the environment will snake its way through the city centre. Wonder at the eye-catching floats, performers and magnificent costumes. Come along and see St Patrick, Pipe Bands, dancers and more on their colourful journey through the heart of the city.

The carnival leaves from Belfast City Hall at 12.30pm and will travel along Chichester Street and Victoria Street, into High Street and Donegall Street before finishing at Writers Square.

You can then make the short trip across to Custom House Square where visitors will be able to enjoy a free concert from 1.30pm-4pm. Featuring quality local traditional music and dance, along with special guest appearances, you won’t be able to stop your hands clapping and your feet tapping! Entry to the concert will be on a first-come-first-served basis and terms and conditions apply.
