Dream Apartments Dundee Food Guide

Are you planning a trip away to one of Scotland's most breathtaking cities? Our Serviced Apartments are situated in the heart of Dundee's West End and offer spacious self-catering apartments with a wealth of amenities for both pleasure and business travellers looking for a home away from home while on the road.

Are you looking for where to eat while you are away? You'll find all you need in our complete food guide!

1) The TayBerry

The Tayberry Restaurant in Broughty Ferry, which has only recently opened, might appear more like an opulent showroom than a restaurant. The sleek and contemporary interior decked out in subdued silver and vivid berry colours are luxurious and comfortable, creating a wonderful setting.

Adam Newth, the award-winning chef-proprietor, has created a simple but exquisite cuisine that highlights the best seasonal, local foods; the Sunday lunch there is an option we recommend! Try the Treacle, a drink made with rum, maple syrup, and apple juice, or an Old Fashioned to toast the favourite local spirit.

2) Fisherman's Tavern

The Fisherman's Tavern in Broughty Ferry is possibly the most incredible, most authentic bar in Dundee. It's also the only bar in Scotland to have appeared in every issue of the CAMRA Good Beer Guide since its inception in 1974. The ideal place to try some local ales or get classic fish & chips.

3) Tonic

At this burger establishment, you can be creative with your meals. Tonic is a terrific bar/restaurant with fantastic coffee, but the novelty burgers are unquestionably the highlight of this hip spot. A diverse menu has many unusual dishes, like the Dessert Burger, a bizarre concoction with banana and chocolate sauce.

4) Rishi

Most of us enjoy a good curry now and then, but Rishi's provides so much more. This restaurant specialises in authentic South Indian cuisine, including foot-long dosas and Hyderabadi Biryani, in addition to bhunas, kormas, and madras. Rishi's is one of the best venues in the area to experience a taste of India.

5) Oshibori

We arrive at the magnificent Oshibori on our way from Indian to Japanese cuisine. Among many East Asian eateries in the city, this sushi and Ramen noodle cafe is the best. The luxury of Oshibori creates a one-of-a-kind dining experience, which is complemented by delectable Japanese cuisine. Keep a lookout for their Sochu Bar, which is scheduled to open shortly this year.

6) Bellini

Nothing beats delicious, hearty Italian cuisine, which is what Bellini specialises in. This family-run restaurant in the city centre serves up delicious Italian classics and various European cuisines to satisfy every palate. Bellini's small setting and courteous staff make each customer's dining experience unique.
