Dawson Park

You can also go for a stroll at Dawson Park during the autumn season. Dundee Treasure Hunt Trail

Who'd have guessed that the city had its own treasure trail? This 'treasure hunt' type walking route will provide you with the ideal chance to explore Dundee with a group of friends or family throughout the Autumn season. Wrap yourself in a warm coat and walk the route for about 1.5 kilometres (it takes around 1.5 hours to complete). 

Balgay Hill

Balgay Hill has a complex network of walkways that lead to spectacular views of the River Tay. The Mills Observatory is located in the woods, where you can see a variety of space exploration and astronomical displays, as well as interesting planetarium presentations (for all ages). This is an excellent route for you to use whether you want to walk the dog, discover the marvels of space and time, or soak up the spectacular fall vistas.

Dundee Botanic Gardens

Who could forget the Dundee Botanic Gardens? These gardens (a 23-acre length!) are an inexpensive and pleasant way to spend an afternoon next to the River Tay. You can eat lunch here, then spend a couple of hours learning about the garden's lovely plants, flowers, and herb gardens, which are equipped with a popular cafe, gift store, and greenhouses.
